Description

DropboxPortable allows you to install Dropbox to your USB flash drive, while syncing the data to it as well. Simply download the .ZIP file and decompress it to your USB drive. On the first launch, DropboxPortable will prompt you a very important instruction. Once you have follow these instructions, DropboxPortable should work just like it does as if were installed to your computer.

Upgrading

When upgrading, please backup your "Data" and "Dropbox" folders before copying the new program files. This will ensure that no data is lost.

Caveats

This program requires .NET Framework 3.5 to be installed.

Also, Dropbox may not run on some computers e.g. public workstations. It is vulnerable to changes in system security policies commonly employed by public and university libraries.

Tips & Tricks

Users with Upgraded Accounts

If you've upgraded to a larger account, try creating an additional Dropbox account and sharing a folder with that account, this way you can sync selected files with your USB drive.
